INTEGRATED ENGLISH PROGRAM (IEP)
Integrated English Program (IEP) is particularly designed for young and energetic learners of Early Learning and Primary programs from the age of 3 to 12 and to fulfill both students and parents’ needs that is totally aligned with the school’s vision and missions of Sovannaphumi School, especially to prepare young students for their future academic success. Our professional curriculum developers of IEP have carefully developed all aspects of the children’ development domains and setting up clear goals in order to provide satisfied end result of all the students for helping them to be fully as the global citizen. IEP Program’s development domains and goals are focused on some special areas such as cognitive and language development, physical & health development, character & moral development, artistic expression & creativity development, 21st century skills development, and other enrichment programs.
This program consists of Early Learning and Primary Levels and students are required to have full schedule for the whole day both morning and afternoon. All children will be well-developed with positive developmental domains such as language, literacy, social & emotional, physical well-being, approaches to learning, creative arts Mathematics and science.
The Early Learning Program is an early Khmer and English language and literacy skills development program, designed for early learners from 3 to 6 years of age. This program also provides additional support to meet children’s social-emotional skills, life skills, character, and physical development.
By attending the Early Learning Program, young learners will be exposed and introduced to variety of learning experiences, activities, and environment which lay foundation for their early language and literacy skills in both Khmer and English language.
PRIMARY PROGRAM
The IEP Primary Program is designed for primary young learners from the age of 6 to 12 who need further supports for their language, literacy skills, social-emotional development, moral & character development, physical development, digital literacy, hands-on experiments, and content and academic knowledge and skills development in Khmer, Science, Math and English language and 21st century skills.
The program is integrated in the Khmer General Education program to provide additional supports in terms of English language, academic reading and writing, oral skills, content knowledge, and character developing learning activities, experiences, materials, and environment to primary students.
